After posing for a couple red-carpet photos, TaperMeBad's Adrienne & Sean enjoyed the pre-show sip & shop, with an incredible Jack Daniels Honey Whiskey Signature (best drink..... EVER quite possibly), moving through the room checking out the vendors before we took our seats.

In Awards Show Fashion, the lovely host for the night took stage- Ava Marie of WBAL- NBC Baltimore (my old stomping grounds!) She was sweet and personable, sprinkling in a few jokes- seemingly not able to part with her weather roots, Ava charmed the crowd, admitting 7pm was her usual bedtime- so she was glad to be hosting such an event! After her intro, we watched as Maryland's Emerging awards were presented to some of the most innovative in the local Fashion industry.

Fast moving, the Awards presentation was broken up by speakers and performances. We heard from local movers and shakers, specifically a woman of power hailing from DC who goes by Coach K. Her predominant words were that "Success needs Successors," don't ever neglect helping those working with you, or coming after you; that's how your legacy's remain. She also left us with:

Three Basics for success in this industry- Authenticity, Audacity, & Authority.

Circus? Yes.... There were literally circus acts performing down the runway, quite entertaining and true to the theme:

The runway models were dripped in shades of 'honey' for the "Jack Daniels Honey Whisky" Runway Design Competition.... Lovely!

A fun Sunday Evening 'Fashionable Date night' for the owners of TaperMeBad, & a trip back to our roots in Baltimore!
